I was hired to reduce public water use. But the real reason I was hired was so the City could claim it was "doing everything possible" to protect its water supply while it campaigned for an unnecessary $150 million new dam and reservoir. My employer expected I would fail. But to everyone's amazment, I succeeded. I won United States EPA 1st place awards, and I reduced water use 4 years in a row. You won't believe what was done to me.
