Trees more important than water

CLARIFICATION: The actual job title for the above position is "Urban Forester." I began calling this position "Tree Conservation Manager" because it is so similar in nature to my former position as Water Conservation Manager. If you spot a tree in need of a hug you can call City Hall and ask for the Urban Forester. MORE CLARIFICATION: The truck photo above is not authentic, but the City of Greensboro really does employ an "Urban Forester." And although WATER is always in the news, Greensboro no longer employs a Water Conservation Manager or staff person. Greensboro's EPA-award winning Water Conservation program quietly ended about 7 years ago. You could not have learned this anywhere but here because the local news media has failed to report it.--MB
